Meet Dr. Nina Ray, a pediatric dentist at Teeth R’ Us Children’s Dentistry who brings a contagious energy to our practice. Originally from New Orleans, Dr. Ray is a devoted wife and mother to her daughter, and she has a beloved French bulldog named Vieux Carre. When she’s not providing top-notch dental care to our patients, you can find her traveling, staying fit, trying new restaurants, or browsing the shelves at Haggard Library.

Dr. Ray is passionate about creating a fun, educational, and comfortable experience for each of her patients. She takes pride in getting to know each child and building long-lasting relationships with them and their families. Dr. Ray’s favorite quote, “Philippians 4:13,” reflects her strong faith and determination to provide the best possible care for her patients.

Awards and Affiliations

Dr. Nina Ray, DDS, is a highly trained pediatric dentist and a part-time member of our team at Teeth R’ Us Children’s Dentistry. With a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Howard University and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the same institution, Dr. Ray brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. She also completed a General Practice Residency at Bronx Care Health System and holds a BS from Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Ray’s research interests include access to care, hospital dentistry, and special needs, and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, further demonstrating her commitment to providing the highest level of care to her patients. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M, Dr. Ray continues to contribute to the education and development of future dental professionals.
